We are honored to have the Horror Writer's Association presence at the Death's Parade Film Fest!

Although the HWA is primarily known for supporting new and veteran novelists across the many forms of Horror and Dark Fantasy, many filmmakers are also part of the burgeoning group.

The HWA was formed in the late 1980’s with the help of many of the field’s greats, including Dean Koontz, Robert McCammon, and Joe Lansdale. Today, with over 1,250 members in countries across the world, it's the oldest and most respected professional organization for the much-loved writers who have brought you the most enjoyable sleepless nights of your life.

Among the benefits of being an HWA member is the Mentorship program. Upon request (and availability) you will be paired with an established writer in your field to help propel your work to the next level.

The HWA Redwood City Chapter will be presenting the Best Writing Award. You can find information on a chapter in your area here.

See you at the festival!
